MANIFESTE / MANIFESTO

Un engagement radical dans la photographie documentaire et de rue, avec des contraintes esthétiques et éthiques

_

A radical commitment to documentary and street photography, with aesthetic and ethical constraints.

Inability to take on commissions

Hikaru attempted to photograph small objects for luxury Japanese catalogs, but he ended his career prematurely when he realized that his strict upbringing wouldn't be enough to maintain his composure with the various people involved in a photography studio.

Inability to photograph weddings

Vincent eventually agreed, out of friendship, to cover a wedding, insisting that it be accompanied by a proper wedding photographer. He never received any feedback on his photos of the buffet attack.

Inability to do reportage work.

Ethan was always late when he started working for the American press, and he can't mention a single newspaper that kept him for more than three weeks.
